The program was started with an invocation prayer By pastor KR Sampang Rai followed by presentation and felicitiaton .Welcome Address was presented by GSUD president Anand Gurung. Thereafter khukuri dance was performed by singrijan/khopanala youth. speaking on occasion special invitie Shri Rahul chetri former (ANGSU) president All Nagaland Gorkha student union depicted the work of Adi kavi bhanu bhakta Acharya for whom we now speak a common United Nepali laguage. Followed by Speech by Special guest DGU chairman Shri Kumar subba. First round of Pageant Mr and Miss Gorkha was staged. Followed by Speech by guest of honor Smt Annie Jain , Director of Dimapur 24/7. She urged the Student to the best in whatever they do as the deed will ultimately recognise the person. She also reminded the Gorkhas leader in different field like Sunil chettri and Freedom fighter Martyr Major Durga Malla. There after Second round of Pageant show was done. Dance was performed by SD JAIN Gorkha student. And followed by speech by Chief Guest Shri Akashe k. Zhimomi President of Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and industry. (DCCI) Speaking on occasion he urged the Student to have passion in whatever they do and important of Good Character he asked the student not to just to depend on Govt job but to be a entrepenuer and help the society. At last the final round of Pageant show was concluded with the result declaration of Pageant show. Miss Gorkha was Crowned to Miss prema Chettri and Mr Gorkha to Mr Prakash Shrestha. 1st runners up was awarded to Aishwarya poudel and 2nd Runners up to Reshmi chetri. Where as 1 runner up Mr Gorkha was awarded to Subash B Ghataney and 2nd runners up to Aman chettri. Miss charming was awarded to Navita Subba and Mr cool to Arun pradhan.
