1968 Gordon’s Gin ad

From left to right: 1957-1979-2020. My friend and I tasted all three today to compare. The unopened 1957 bottle, unfortunately, had a moldy taste. I had had a 1956 bottle last year and it was FANTASTIC. This bottle was a bust. Ugh. The 1979 and the 2020 were very similar but the 1979 felt much warmer going down and was smoother overall. Gordon’s is a pretty cheap gin these days. I think it’s pretty darn good for a cheap gin and is a great choice for cocktails. But the 1956 and 1979 were better alone. I’m so bummed about the moldy 57.
