I can never loose the thought of Shadowheart being uncomfortable being called her birth name by her parents, being too glad to have them back but simply feeling so far from that little girl in the woods now. She's lived and is now forging her life in many ways for the life she had taken from her there as Shadowheart. Still one given to her, but became hers with the tadpole. Her life became hers to decide and to shape, as Shadowheart that hearing her old one stings. Though her parents want the lost child back, and of course they would, but with each use like they want her maybe even the daughter that could be standing in her place, without her past, without most everything that shaped her and if she can become a good enough daughter for them to learn to let her rest there as well and love Shadowheart, without a small doubt it's never just as Shadowheart it's as close to the daughter that never was.
