arms around him cause the slightest stumble, eyebrows raised in shock. his own arms wrap around her without hesitation, a natural instinct. they linger there a moment before he pulls back, hands still holding her arms but he’s pulled back enough to look at her. “what was that for?”

sitting outside the school’s counselor's officer wasn’t necessarily new to stella. many times she had been sent as a response to her “defiant and troublesome behaviour”. nevertheless, the reason she was there this time did give her a cold feeling in her stomach, like when you’re about to drop on a roller coaster. because this time, the reason stella yamada found herself outside the counselor’s officer was to find out if she really didn’t fit in her family. it’s an anxious wait and, any other time of her life, she would have been facing this tremendously long wait by herself. but she didn’t have to, not anymore. oh no, because she had mohini with her. and although stella did not show it entirely, she had to keep her cool vibe after all, she was extremely grateful for the girl. it wasn’t everyday that you would be tested for adhd, well at least she assumed so.

apparently being the frontman of a rising band didn’t do much for ‘fear of speaking in public’, olivia had found. because performing in front of a crowd wasn’t the same as presenting her school work in front of the class. olivia hadn’t felt that nervous in a while, coming back to that reality was a shock, at the very least. she had barely been able to stutter her lines before dodging as fast as she could from the classroom, probably getting herself in detention for it. she didn’t think anyone would come after her, no one ever did before. but before was before the band, before she had become close to this amazing group of people who had her back all time. so of course mo comes after her. mo who has a big heart and is always there for her friends. olivia tries to even out her breathing, doesn’t want to worry the other girl, but her hands are shaking and her eyes are red and tears threaten to fall from them. mo’s presence helps and she is able to nod. ❛ y-yeah, I… I am… I’m okay… ❜ she is able to say after another deep breath. olivia takes a step towards mo, holding onto her for the sake of contact. she’s been through this rodeo before and she knows she needs to ground herself. she has a friend to help her now, which is nice and helpful in this situation.
