Listening to a radio lab story about venice's first female gondolier (canal boat drivers) but he is actually a transgender man.
the story is fantastic and is an honest look at how feminist stories of fighting misogyny can also be stories about trans men AND how feminist sometimes ignore trans men in thier own stories
it is not transphobic to say we face misogyny and also we can say we are not women.
terfs and transphobic people use the misogyny we face as weapon. they threaten to withhold solidarity and resources unless we stay women in thier eyes.
there is no transandrophobia, there are people willing to use misogyny against us because they see us as misbehaving women.
