ya!
What bothers me the most with the "well what if a woman thought she was a lesbian and later realizes that she's bi? where is the problem??" thing is that, apart from the fact that it is very much a big problem for lesbians because it reinforces the idea that we're gonna change our mind and start dating men eventually, most of these women knew they were attracted to men. They just ignored it as long as it was convenient to them, or until they felt like they couldn't ignore it anymore - for example until they started to have a strong crush on a man or whatever.
"It was comphet" "those weren't really crushes, i liked them as friends but didn't realize it" "fictional crushes don't count" "i wasn't really attracted to my ex boyfriends but tried to convince myself i was" etc etc... They use thousands of excuses to try to pretend they're not actually attracted to men, to convince themselves and others they are lesbians. The attraction was always there. They knew it. They just decided to ignore it.
i’m making a variation of byler 😝😝
so it’s basically two universes: a universe where byler gets together between s4 & s5 (uni. #1), and the canon universe where they don’t (uni. #2).
the universes meet. why? because i said so. the timeline is after graduation. everyone talks to the other versions, finds out what happens differently; mike #1 decides to talk to will #2 and is absolutely baffled that byler #2 isn’t together yet because he expected to be with will in every universe.
it’s called blustar*, since the main idea of this ship is mike knowing his love for and “idolizing” of will. the reverse of this (will #1 and mike #2) would be goldstar (or yellowstar, which doesn’t sound as good).
this can also have subvariations if desired (lesblustar/lesgoldstar, bluwise/bravegold, sorcstar, etc).
*specifically “blu-“ and not “blue-“ because there’s a character in a different fandom named bluestar and i wanna be respectful of that
