This is PDU-767 reporting from the Gold Carpet at the first annual GOLDIES awards. Reporting for the Golden Army Information Network. This drone is nominated for a few categories tonight, but has been tasked with interviewing a few team members about tonight. Unfortunately, drone missed its news co-host and the host of the awards, Grayden Gold. He is getting ready in his dressing room backstage.

One of the earlier bros it spotted was Alton #77. He was striding in his shiny gold suit. Drone was able to get an answer to which category Alton felt the most confident in, since he had 16 nominations. Alton mentioned he had stiff competition in all of the categories and was honored to be nominated, but he was obviously confident in all of them. If he had to name just one he pointed out the best picture award, stating how cute the picture of Franco resting on his chest was.

Polo drones PDU-090 and PDU-034 walked in a controlled, but slightly modelesque manner down the gold carpet. PDU-090 waved for photos and this drone recalls many compliments being said about 034’s suit.

We also saw Jordan in his golden suit pausing for photos. C.C., the alien turned bro, was present wearing a cyan suit with a gold tie. He knew he was only really here to accept the Cyan Collective’s awards, but he did inform the network that he hopes his team bros realize he is loyal to them above all others for giving him a chance.

Resident bad boy Daniel Gold was escorted in by bodyguards. We saw a lot of fans cheering for him. 

But no one could keep their eyes off of Trey. 

He strode down the carpet like he owned it, but with 18 nominations between him and his boy PDU-055 it was hard to be surprised. The fashion reporters were saying his outfit definitely won the night before it even started.

Wells arrived with his coach and both smiled for the cameras. Wells was predicted to win multiple awards tonight and headline at least two musical numbers. He might as well be the co-host.

Gabe Gold arrived with his boyfriend Mikhail, they refused to answer any questions, but this drone could tell Gabe was excited for the night. Many faces of old and new passed by, even invited guests from other teams and groups filled in seats.

Xavier with Izzy and Isaac on his arms, Ares, PDU-069, Brock in a well tailored suit, Ezan flexed for the cameras, Captain Brody waved to the crowd and even signed a few autographs, some were even surprised to see Ross in attendance.

One of the last bros to arrive was Jasim Gold, the crowd erupted in a massive round of cheers and applause as Jasim walked with the slightest limp. Fans were aware he had acquired an injury last week, but were not sure how. Drone’s ability to disclose the events that caused Jasim’s injury have been restricted. Jasim walked with confidence, as one of the founding members of the Golden Army he was honored to be in attendance for this inaugural year of the awards. 

As we move the news broadcast inside, we want to share some respect with the on-staff polo drones and MED drones ready for any security or medical needs for the team and the event guests. 

The Stage was set and it was almost time for the opening. Wells came out on stage to start the show, “Golden Army, as your host for the night Grayden gets the last buttons of his suit buttoned and his tie tied, he has requested I start us off with my new single. So I hope you’re all excited for the GOLDIES! Golden Army, let me hear you tonight!” 

The crowd yelled back. 

“Good, could be better, but I’ll take it.” Wells stated.

The lights dropped and then turned gold onto Wells as he began performing “Hollywood Nights”

As the song kept going the camera showed some members of the audience dancing in their seats. Some bros are even getting out of their seats to dance in the aisle between the rows of seats. 

After the song ended, Grayden walked out as the announcing voice called him in.

I’m still trying to process last night.

Walking off that stage with Best Original Song – “Giants” in one hand and Golden Musical Artist of the Year in the other… that wasn’t just my win.

That was ours.

Golden Bros. Polo Drones. Coach. Hive. Every single one of you who ever screamed the hook with me like you were ready to run straight at every giant in your life.

You built this.

When “Giants” started, it wasn’t a trophy track. It was just a feeling:

Being tired of staying quiet. Being done with shrinking down. Hearing the monsters in your head and deciding to shout back instead of stay small. Choosing to sprint at the giants and find out if you can fly on the way down.

You’re the ones who turned that into an anthem.

Golden Bros blasting it before training, shoulders back, ready to look their giants in the eye.

Polo Drones locking into formation, running drills like they were charging something bigger than themselves.

Edits, fan art, locker-room videos, late-night car singalongs—every reblog was another step in that run-up.

I saw all of it. Every beat of that song is wired to your courage.

And I’ve got to say this out loud:

For every “again,” every “you’re not done yet,” every time you pushed me past the point where the fear starts shouting and told me to shout louder.

You helped me take that feeling of running at giants and turn it into something the whole room could feel shake.

And the biggest shout of the night goes to @chavambrose.

You’re the one who pointed me at the Golden Army and said, “He’s built for this.”

You didn’t just refer me. You lit the fuse.

You told the Hive, “That’s Golden Wells,” before I even believed it myself.

So what happens after two Goldies?

We don’t go quiet. We don’t step back from the edge. We get more reckless.
