i’m so upset. i can barely see. my right eye is making up for my left eye and i can’t see the specialist until the 27th of october and my vision is rapidly getting worse. i can’t barely function at school. my glasses just make it worse because my right prescription is wrong. “he says it’s right” then why can’t i see out of it. i started crying because i can’t fucking see, i can’t read, i can’t write, and she goes “did you fill your meds?”. every time im upset recently she just asks if ive taken my meds or filled my prescription. i’m so fucking frustrated i just want my eye fixed and my emotions to be seen normally
i am not going 100% blind, but i will ultimately be losing a solid chunk of vision in my right eye and that scares me.
i know no one with significant vision issues beyond "i wear glasses", so i feel very alone in this experience. how do i come to terms with my vision loss? how do i learn to cope?

Goin' Blind
"If glasses help you then partially blind isn't your word"
I'm blind in one eye and have a high prescription with like 3 problems in the other that are slowly making me blind in that eye too, but okay, sure. That totally makes sense./sarcasm
Fun fact: Disabilities aren't always identical, I might be able to see a little bit out of my left eye with glasses on now, but give me a decade or so, and I'm sure even that will be gone.
(And no, despite what people seem to think, my glasses don't make me anywhere near 20/20, wouldn't even if I had the correct prescription. But, it doesn't matter because I don't have the correct prescription. The eye doctor literally can't give it to me.)
The day I lose my sight for good, is the day I leave this world for good.
I’d rather be dead than be unable to write a thing ever again.
Now that’s the risk, now that it is right in front of me. Once I do this test and get the results on my eyes then it’s all either downhill or rock bottom for me.
