these are VERY rough sketches just of it’s general design

ok so it’s name is Coraxin AKA Desrodan

As you can probably tell from the name it is a alternate version on Desghidorah that didn’t get into a fight with king Ghidorah but landed on earth still in it’s magma state

and instead of almost wiping out the Mothra species it almost wiped out the Rodans. But it met the same fate and got sealed away for millions of years not from magic this time but from getting pushed into an active volcano.

it wakes up in 1956 alongside the two remaining Rodans and their nest. It kills the female Rodan and mortality wounds the male Rodan as the only remaining egg in the nest hatches into Rodan Echo. The male Rodan is killed, Rodan echo runs away and matures, big climatic fight between echo and Coraxin/Desrodan, echo wins and becomes the protector of earth

so basically rebirth of mothra but with Rodan

THE INSANE GOOBER

I feel it's almost an unwritten rule that as a Godzilla fan? You have to have at least ONE original kaiju you made up for the G Man. For myself? That kaiju is MORANA!

First giving a shout out to my friend and partner in crime @artmakerproductions for this lovely piece here, this is MORANA The Thermal Vampire Kaiju. Now before this question comes up? No this was not inspired by Shimo, the idea actually had been something I had been thinking about since 2019, a cryokinetic adversary to Godzilla, but up until the last two years? I hadn't really been able to think of an idea but eventually something clicked after all that time...... It's a process ok!

To start, let's discuss where Morana is from and for that? Simplest answer is that they are alien, nothing new in that regard to Godzilla but still? Morana is among possibly the last of their kind, originating from a planet not unlike Mercury if only in terms of general temperature, where through unknown means? Morana and their kind would up floating through the cold vacuum of space in a semi-dormant state, conserving body heat. Though the amount of time spent floating around the void of space is unknown, eventually Morana was the last one standing, crashing onto Earth.

Seeming to almost absorb the majority of the heat generated from the entry into Earth's atmosphere, you think this would be a good thing for Morana as now it's no longer floating around in space anymore.... you'd be wrong. Since the temperatures of Morana's world and ours are so different? Morana is effectively FREEZING TO DEATH on our world. With no real eyes to speak of for the alien kaiju, instead having heat pits? It's actively looking for sources of heat for itself, its body absorbing the ambient heat around itself making it almost a living ice age.

It's first adversary it encountered on our world was Rodan and its mate Radon on Monster Island, a scientific research station in this universe designed to how kaiju for safe study without permanent neutralization. Though the two demons of fire fought well, the fight did not end well with the frost kaiju latching onto Radon with its claws and with its prehensile tongue? Siphoning not just Radon's blood but its HEAT as well, eventually becoming a CORPSICLE by the time Morana is done, frozen solid. Morana is not meaningfully malevolent but rather it is driven simply to survive, to seek out warmth like anyone would do when they're cold and unfortunately that brings them on a collision course with the King Of Monsters, a living nuclear reactor of heat.
