The main ship in this AU is PolyPantheon, aka the whole pantheon is polyamorous and DATING. There is a minimum of 2 canon married couples, HorrorFarm and AfterDeath. Feel free to hc any other married relationships!

When Lunar willingly contacted him for a peaceful meeting, that’s how Solar knew something was up.

It’s been a very long time since his estranged husband had contacted him like this. Last time had been when Solar was attempting to get Lunar to sign the divorce papers. Let’s just say that day ended in QUITE the fight, and no signed papers. Ever since then, though, Laurel won’t stop giving his cards for marriage counselors.

Solar arrived at the meeting location early. They were meeting in neutral territory, where neither of them would be particularly powerful, and with no allies with them. It was highly suspicious, so Solar had made sure to have Creation on speed dial, just in case things turned south. Despite his precautions, Solar was still hopeful that things wouldn’t go that way. This is his husband, after all! Sure, they’ve been fighting for a long time, and Lunar won’t sign the divorce papers, but Solar still cares about him.

“What. Did. You. Do.” A familiar voice growled from behind Solar. He had only just arrived at the location, and it seems his husband had been waiting.

“What are you talking about-” Solar started, before cutting himself off with a gasp as he turned around. Standing behind him with an angered scowl on his face, was a form he hadn’t seen Lunar in, in a long time.

“Let me repeat myself. What, exactly, did you DO, Solar.” Lunar growled out, glaring at Solar.

“I didn’t do anything, dear. I wasn’t even aware of your transformation before now.” Solar poured every ounce of truth into his words, hoping to get through to the other that he had no clue what happened.

Lunar narrowed his eye sockets at his estranged husband, before finally relaxing a miniscule amount.

“Fine, you didn’t do this, I’ll believe that. But who did.” It wasn’t a question, but an order. It seems that they’ve been apart so long outside of battle, that Lunar had forgotten he’d never been able to order Solar around.

Solar simply raised an eyebrow bone, before Lunar let out an annoyed huffed, before rephrasing his statement. “Do you. Happen to know. Who did this. To me. Dear?” Each word sounded strained, but “Dear” had lingering fondness in it. Solar could tell, he was married to this man after all.

“No, dear, I do not.” Solar replied calmly, satisfied at the annoyed growl his estranged husband made.

“Well, in that case-” Lunar started, before a burst of energy sent Solar falling into him. Luckily, the other managed to find his footing in time to catch Solar. Solar proceeded to blush a small amount at being caught by Lunar, before shoving him away to stand on his own. He ignored Lunar’s wounded expression.

“New question, what was that?” Solar asked, looking around the area. It was like a wave of Godly energy had swept over this Universe. He’d be willing to bet that it had occurred elsewhere, too.

“Felt like Godly energy, but there aren’t NEARLY enough of us to cause something like that….” Lunar trailed off, replacing his pout with an intense expression. “For the meantime, I am officially calling a truce. You and yours don’t do shit, and me and mine won’t do shit, got it, dear?”

“I can work with that, dear.” Solar replied, before summoning a portal to the Doodle Sphere, and leaving through it.

Lunar watched him go with an almost sad expression on his face. Damn did he miss his husband’s snark. Though, this is kinda his fault, if he was being honest with himself.
