Those with whom I’ve written CERTAIN KINDS of threads or who’ve read CERTAIN FACTS POSTS about Nina know that when she (or Zero) gets furious enough, she’ll leak blood from her mouth and/or eye socket, or vomit it -- or, if things progress even further, go from blood to a superheated, radioactive, EXTREMELY corrosive substance that’s basically Zero themselves. Which is a lot for aesthetics I’m not gonna lie but not only for that! Because aesthetics aside, when Nina exudes or vomits blood, that’s actually Zero forcing blood from previous kills out of themselves (and, by extension, out of Nina) through her body, in an attempt to empty them both enough that it triggers their shared hunger and makes Nina lose control. If it progresses to the other substance, that means Zero has given up on trying to force Nina via hunger and is instead trying to force their way out of the prison of her mind and body.

unb0und. Whenever Nina breaks out of her human form into something more godly / monstrous, the shape she takes will always, always still have at least some humanoid element to it, no matter how far she’s drifted from humanity. A discernible head and torso at the top / center / focus of the form she’s taken; the impression of a lone eye paired with a socket, no matter how many more eyes have boiled into existence around it; a ribcage backlit with Zero’s radiance or else clawed open, pouring blood and guts and luminescence (as if reminding the universe through her body what godhood does to her. What it means to her). The reason for this is more than aesthetic; that human edge to all her godly shapes is the manifestation of Nina’s tooth-and-nail determination to retain her humanity.
