a random starter for @godmona | Harrison Blackwood & Fable Vaughn
If someone were to tell Harrison Blackwood that the love of his life would show up at his doorstep with a tiny human in hand asking for a place to stay, he wouldn't have believed it unless Donatello confirmed it. The night prior, Harrison had been catching up on paperwork for both his environmental company and record label. The Gods knew that he had been putting off for some time now and documents needed signatures and meetings needed to be plan.
When he was elbows deep in documents, he received a text from his adoptive sister, Sloane Blackwood.
[ 𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐓: 𝐒𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 ❄️😈 ]: Hey, Mr. Friendly Green Giant, I left a present ya on your doorstep. Don't let them wait outside too long.
That was the text that changed his life and what felt like life times ago came flooding back at once. Dark brown eyes, silk dark hair, the most beautiful complexion and a laugh that made his heart pound like a drum in a metal song. Memories of his first kiss, first date, and many other firsts made him believe he was dreaming. But he wasn't, if anything it was a dream to see Fable Vaughn at this door. It was like time didn't pass at all, the only thing that changed was the tiny child she had attached to her hand. As much as he wanted the child to be his, it seemed like she moved on just like he had - at least to an extent. Harrison personally never loved the way he loved Fable. Sure there had been flings, a casual relationship here and there but all those women weren't her.
They had minimal time to catch up given how exhausted they both looked, so Harrison set up one of the spare guest rooms in his manor for them. The next morning, he was cooking breakfast for the both of them. He could have had his demonic staff prepare the food but he wanted to it personally.
Standing in the kitchen, in grey sweatpants, black socks, and fuzzy slippers, Harrison was making hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, pancakes, and waffles. Breakfast wasn't breakfast without waffles. Wiping away any batter that slipped on his college sweater ( Harrison never liked letting things go, clothes mainly ). He began dishing up plates for Fable and her child, Tarian (the kid didn't talk much, but he hoped he could win them over with food ). Once the plates were fully stacked he turned to see Fable standing quietly. A bright smile spread on his features in addition to a light blush on his cream-colored cheek.
"Good Morning, I made breakfast. "
