There are hundreds of thousands, heck millions, of people on the other side of the computer screen plotting out their New Years Resolution to lose 20lbs (more or less) this year. Maybe, they have even worked out a couple times this year, which is pretty darn good being that it's the 3rd of January. Does this sound like you? You know what, It's time to get real. You have to get REAL HONEST with yourself before you can get real results. My advise to you is to CHECK YOURSELF for ALL of your excuses. All of them. Keep playing the "Why" game until they are all out on the table. Over the next few days, I am going to share the excuses I was telling myself all the while gaining weight and losing confidence. Here is my first one. Excuse #1 -- I don't have access. I came up with all the reasons I couldn't properly access my workouts while traveling. I was living in a hotel Monday - Friday. That means eating out ALL of my meals. Flying around the country with my DVDs wouldn't have been ideal even if my laptop had a CD player in it. I could just see myself accidentally leaving a DVD on a desk in a random hotel room somewhere. I was doing Beachbody programs LONG before I ever became a coach. (If I only knew then what I know now.) I LOVED my DVDs. I would look at my calendar, pop in the Day's challenge on DVD, and get to work in my house. BUT that all changed when I started traveling over 50% of the time. In my mind, I just simply didn't have access. Queue the Answer -- When I realized I could access my trusty programs from my laptop via Beachbody OnDemand, I had to drop that excuse. It was no longer applicable. I could literally access the programs from anywhere with wifi. First problem solved, and this is now my ABSOLUTE favorite way to workout. Stay tuned for the next round of "What were Mikaela's excuses?" :) #excuses #newyearresolution #goalsNOTresolutions #dropyourexcuses #fittip #fitspiration #travellife #goalsetting #fitness #weightloss #healthy #fitspiration
