I don’t believe in New Year Resolutions because I now believe in doing things in the moment and not wait for any perfect day or time.. I have been wanting to voice this out since long but to be honest I didn’t get time.. but finally taking inspiration from my fellow blogger and friend’s post @thatgoangirl .. I thought even I should say it.. Somewhere along the years.. my Instagram page started reflecting only the reviews and promotions that I was doing.. and I started missing out on the real purpose of my blog and Instagram page.. it was to do, showcase and post my passions, the things that I love, sharing my experiences for sure, but then also sometimes just reflecting upon the inner thoughts , creating memories.. and since I wasn’t doing this and spending too much time thinking on what to post and what not to.. I started losing interest.. each post seemed a bit heavy.. But I think I am gonna change that approach.. I’ll post what I enjoy.. posts that reflect me and my passions.. And I have no qualms about posting less when work keeps me busy or getting less views n likes.. The all-new menu at @felixgoaofficial surely deserves your attention The menu offers global comfort food using the freshest and the bestest ingredients available. The robata skewers are a must-try, I loved my Thai Herbed Prawns, and The Pickled Chilli Chicken was good too. The Bocconcini Pesto Tomato Salad was hands down one of the best I had and you definitely must try it. Portuguese Prawns with Pav and Chicken Burger made for our mains and there is no denying that the prawns were something that I can go back for anytime. The Orange Brulee was perfect to end our meal I have to admit that each time I visit Felix, I find the quality & taste of food improved, each time is better than before and it's their constant zeal to offer their guests nothing but the best, that I love the most. So if you haven’t been to Felix before, this is your signal and even if you have been earlier, the new menu is surely something you would not wanna miss, so head on. What an amazing dining experience it was at @goamarriott .. Chef Amit Dash surely made his experience speak through his chef’s special menu that consists of an amazing mix of 15 vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes from multiple cuisines.. I was fortunate enough to try almost all of them and when I say that it was difficult to pick one or two dishes as my favourite, believe me, because each dish was as good as the other. It’s a rare occasion when everything that you get on your table is so delicious and perfect. Most of the dishes come with some beautiful chutneys to go along and do not miss them, each one of them simply elevates the taste of the dish. This chef’s special menu is available only till the 25th of September so make sure you don’t miss it. It’s regret worthy for sure. If you are craving for some great Mexican food, @mexicolagoa is your place to be. It offers both indoor and outdoor dining spaces and well apart from the Mexican food, you can also try some lip smacking burgers from @theburgerhousegoa as they are both under the same roof. The dishes that I tried included: Burning Chilli Fries- Topped with a hot sauce, these were good, although not as spicy as I expected them to be, the spiciness and tanginess of the hot sauce were just right. Al Pastor (Pork) Tacos-Loved them, garnished with pineapple and cilantro, the pulled pork in their traditional sauce made it an amazing dish to savour. Chicken Tacos- With shredded chicken in chipotle sauce, this too was a great preparation. Chicken Enchiladas- Another good preparation that you can try. Overall a great place to relish good Mexican food and is decently priced too. Special mention for the bartender, I had one of the best Bloody Marry at Mexicola and it was something I can definitely go back for.
