The penultimate BG3 2025 challenge is here and ready for all of your creative endeavours~ As always the AO3 collection will remain open for late entries, and the prompts are optional suggestions, feel free to write or draw anything that fits the theme of Gnomes!

Gnomevember day twenty-six!! Warp.

Featuring my Gnomish take on Sigyn, Goddess of Constancy from Norse mythology (and one of my Patrons).

Since one of Her bynames is "Incantation-Fetter," I believe She must be powerful in Seiðr (ancient Norse magickal practice), especially defensive magicks, even though so little specific context and details are left of Her lore for us. Personal gnosis, yes, but it just feels right and makes sense!! Plus, I've seen Seiðr described as fiber arts magic - weaving magic! - so "warp" as in weaving, and in this case the magic taking weaving's form as She casts some shielding (likely to protect Herself and Her loved ones, of course!).

Shoutout also to Cat Rector's "Unwritten Runes" series, which tackles a more magical take on Our Lady in such a fun and intense way!! Highly recommend.
