something sweet to cure my recent frustrations.

So I thought about the Eye Thing saga again, and I've been talking at length about Gossan, Hatchy and Porphy, but I realized I didn't explore much when it comes to Slate. Just for a reminder: Slate was present during the incident, that's a canon fact. And, in my AU, they carried Gossan to the medical cabin, and had to hold them down while Gossan was screaming and thrashing around violently while they had what's left of their eye removed. Of course that would leave an impression! I believe that, in general, Hearthians are pretty tough when it comes to handling injuries, especially Slate. I think even a bone sticking out wouldn't disturb them that much. But in that case, I don't think it would be a nice moment to go through.

Recently I've been a bit unmotivated with my geology major, but metamorphic petrology is here to cheer me up
