Fake Fact Lips Japan🏳️‍🌈 (completed/watched live) YAY! Character/relationship growth with everyone being open and honest and vulnerable. Episode 10 made our faces hurt from smiling so much! This series was really great and we loved it! This was a highlight in our week and we will miss it. Love of Silom Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (completed/watched live) The acting was great and there was a lot we really enjoyed about this series. Unfortunately, this story just didn't suck us in the way we wanted it to and we are sad about that. But we ate up every second of Singto!!! Put this kid in EVERYTHING NOW! WU Thailand (completed/watched live) The plot was entertaining and the acting was good. Just really wished they had stuck to platonic found family love instead of whatever that was because our feelings clouded our enjoyment of this series. Absolute Value of Romance Korea (completed) A high school girl writing BL online about her hot teachers... this concept was fun and there were a lot of hilarious moments. But even if we really enjoyed the main character, the friendships, and the overall messaging, we struggled with a story that centered around BL as a punchline without including any positive queer messaging. We held out hope the entire time, but in the end, this series let us down and even felt homophobic at times. So we got the ick and everything we loved about it was overshadowed by that. 😢 Fourever You 2 Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (completed) We loved this entire series! The special was cuuuute! Could definitely see this being a comfort rewatch someday. Love Class 3 Korea🏳️‍🌈 (watching live) When did the info update to 16 episodes??? Not complaining because with 5 second episodes, they need more! Absolute popcorn. No nutritional value from this snack of a show, but combining idols with BL means this is exactly the kind of junk food we eat up! This is suffering as a live watch though. Life In Smokey Blue Japan🏳️‍🌈 (completed) LOVE! It's so quiet and mature and real. Really beautiful slice of life 🥰 Your Dear Daddy Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (completed) That popcorn watch left us disappointed and unsatisfied. Wishing we had spent those calories on something else. Journey With You China🏳️‍🌈 (completed) This felt like a Kill To Love fix-it fic! 🤣 Definitely a popcorn watch. We ate, but only because we had a craving and we couldn't stop once we started. ChermChey Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (ep 6/10) At least once every episode we have a "what the fuck are we watching?!" moment! But also, we smile a lot and are having fun. So we like it? We couldn't tell you what the point of this story is, but the characters are weird and goofy and it's been fun seeing Tutor and Yim play them. Knot Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (watching live) How does the main character not know what secondary gender is?! Episode one had us hoping it gets better... but episode two made us realize it doesn't have to! LOL! It is bad and we laughed so much. Entertained. The Lie We Lived In Korea🏳️‍🌈 (completed) You'd think we would be tired of popcorn 🤣 This series was not good, but we were entertained while we watched and that was all we asked of it! Dual Stars Taiwan🏳️‍🌈 (completed) Another series that wasn't the strongest, but also, we weren't mad we watched it. There were things we really enjoyed and things we didn't. It was good enough for us. A Dog and A Plane Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (4/10) We were trying to wait on this one, but tumblr gave us fomo. This one has been so fun and we are really enjoying it. Even though we are going to be out of episodes way too quickly, glad we started it. Don't Be Too Emotional Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (watching live) More popcorn! And this one seems like it's going to be extra cheesy. The song is CRACKING US UP!!! We can't stop laughing every time it comes on. And the kissing sound effects 🤣 But we are eating this up! Mr. Kill Thailand (watching live) We are really excited for this one! Episode one was solid and the acting is SO GOOD!!! It's impossible for us not to have expectations with this one, so hope it doesn't let us down.

Older Series:

Dark Blue Kiss Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (COMPLETED!) @watchthisqqq convinced us not to drop it and we are glad we finished it. We were frustrated with some of the behaviors/choices, but we understand the characters and the reasons behind the choices. It won't make the top of our favorites list, but we can see why people love it so much. And it was really fun to see Tay and New as babies. Weak Hero Class 1 Korea (completed) Dori's little has been BEGGING us to watch this... loudly... and repeatedly... FOREVER! It was painful to watch, but really good and we are already seated for the next season. Kill To Love Chinese series from Singapore?🏳️‍🌈 (completed) Letting you pick our next watch felt like it might have been a mistake. But even though we were initially not convinced it was "worth the pain", we have to admit that we are grateful it won to poll since we never would have made ourselves watch it and would have missed out on this story.

Eyeing that watch list! So many upcoming series we are counting the minutes to start:

I can't stop thinking about W-, and not in a good way.

The problem isn't that the show is bad. Quite the opposite. The acting is excellent, as expected from S- and N-. The story is engaging, and I'm genuinely invested in the growing connection between P- and N-.

If this were a Chinese series, or even a South Korean one, I would probably be kicking my feet and giggling. I'd be writing about the ways creators tell love stories within the constraints of official or unofficial censorship. But that's exactly the problem. W- is not being produced under those constraints. This is a Thai series from a company whose success has been built, in part, on queer romance stories and the fandoms that support them.

I love a good non-romantic bromance. Friendship stories can be fantastic. Found family is one of my favorites. I also value representation beyond traditional romance. Give me an asexual love story, an aromantic partnership, or any of the countless relationship dynamics that rarely get explored. There are a million stories G--TV could tell that do not center around romance or sex.

And if S- and N- simply want to work together as besties without being marketed as a romantic pairing, great. I'm here for that too. Let them tell true friendship stories. Let them tell found family stories. Let them tell stories that are not about relationships at all. Let them openly say, "We're interested in portraying platonic, asexual or aromantic relationships." That's fine. I don't need every close bond between men to become romantic.

But pick a lane.

Because right now, between W- and the pilot for their next series, what I'm left with feels like a tangled mix of homophobia, queerbaiting, and mockery of queer relationships.

In only the second Pride Month since marriage equality was enacted in Thailand, a production company known primarily for queer storytelling gave us a post credit scene in which P- presents N- with a ring. N- places it on his left ring finger. The symbolism is unmistakable, and then turned into an awkward "no homo" joke.

What am I supposed to do with that?

Maybe I'm not the target audience for this series. But then who is?

Because I don't know how to reconcile G--TV's history of queer storytelling with the choices being made for S- and N- as a pairing. And with another project that appears to take the queerbaiting/queer mockery even further already on the horizon, that discomfort only grows.

More than anything, I'm sad.

I'm disappointed.

And I'm struggling to understand why a company that has played such a significant role in queer media would choose to tell this particular story in this particular way.

New Series (in random order):

Fake Fact Lips Japan🏳️‍🌈 (watching live) Love it. This whole rivalry thing was ridiculous, but it worked! Can't believe it's almost over. 🤞 for a good finale! Wishing upon the Shooting Stars Taiwan🏳️‍🌈 (completed) BIG LOVE!!! Lots fun about this series and the visuals were amazing. Kinda reminded us a little bit of the Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island magic/vibe. Really glad we didn't miss this one. The Gaze China🏳️‍🌈 (completed) Waited to watch this one and were enjoying binging it. But we miscalculated and ended up having to wait a week for the finale and it lost it's hold on us. Not sure if it was that or if the story just fizzled for us. It was entertaining, but not a favorite out of our recent watches. Also... what is with these jealous younger brothers always causing problems?! Double Helix China🏳️‍🌈 (completed/finished live) Fully seated for this disaster. We were impressed with how well this black flag was written and the acting was cruel. Can't say we were thrilled with the inaccurate mental health plot device in the finale, but we already did so much mental gymnastics for this series that we just sighed and moved on. We loved these toxic broken boys. SO MANY triggers! Proceed with extreme caution. Flower Boy Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (completed/watched live) This was a simple, yet pretty solid story that kept us coming back for more like a good popcorn watch should. The CG butterflies kept us laughing until the very end. We wanted to be entertained and we were. Love Upon A Time Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (completed/watched live) There was a lot we enjoyed about this series. It was really pretty, kept us entertained, and the acting was great. We enjoyed both the couples and it did not fail to deliver on that jalapeno cotton candy that DMD is famous for. This one wasn't our favorite on the list, but the finale made our queer hearts so happy and we are glad we watched it. Love of Silom Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (watching live) Entertained. Some of it we absolutely love. And again, great acting. We may have liked this one more if we were watching the episodes closer together, but we couldn't make ourselves wait to start this one. Curious to see how we feel when this one wraps up, but not expecting it to be at the top of our watch list. WU Thailand (watching live) Why does it feels like we are getting a censored BL from Thailand and GMMTV in 2026?! We love found family and enjoy a good bromance, but the over the top romantic moments are not sitting well with us. Romance or bromance.... just PICK.A.LANE!!! Ignoring that, we are mostly having fun and curious to see where it goes. Stand by our previous comment: might have the best and worse costume design of the year. Absolute Value of Romance Korea (ep 9/16) A high school girl writing BL online about her hot teachers... this concept is hilarious. And there is a lot of fun comedy and the main character is a hoot. But we are trying to decide if this series gives us homophobic ick... 😒 We are waiting to see how it plays out. Fourever You 2 Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (ep 3/8) Started Lately, It's Winter Season and working hard not to rush through the episodes so we don't get stuck waiting for the finale. Love Class 3 Korea🏳️‍🌈 (ep 4/10) Absolute popcorn. Not expecting any nutritional value from this snack of a show with ridiculously short episodes, but our inner idol fangirl is seated! Life In Smokey Blue Japan🏳️‍🌈 (ep 4/10) Loving this series. It's so quiet and mature and real. Giving us feels. Your Dear Daddy Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (ep 2/8) Just started and we are allowing ourselves one episode every other day 😂 This also feels like a popcorn watch... and a bit of advertising? Maybe? But so far we are eating it up. Journey With You China🏳️‍🌈 (ep 1/8) More popcorn 🤣 Haven't seen enough to say more than that. ChermChey Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (ep 1/10) Well... that was a start. The peach jokes that were made 🤣 Really enjoying seeing Yim play a very different character.

Dark Blue Kiss Thailand🏳️‍🌈 (ep 8/12) Chipping away at this as a parallel/solo watch after a chat with @watchthisqqq made us curious enough not to drop it. Mo Dao Zu Shi Donghua China🏳️‍🌈 (completed) Kat has consumed all things MDZS including an extensive amount of fan fiction, but this is Dori's first time. The animated series is absolutely stunning and Dori got obsessed with making rainbows. It was a faster paced, condensed version of a bigger story and now Dori wants to start The Untamed (since she never made it through her first attempt).

Maybe starting next...
