˖♡ - ̗̀ ⇢ hiii love! i wish i had an upload schedule but, honestly, the main reason is because i'm too inconsistent at the moment, especially as an engineering major in my junior year :(

not to needlessly ramble or anything but, i'm a very slow writer??? i want to improve my speed but i feel like the quality of my writing would decrease and at times, i've already not been happy with what i've made lol. i'm most productive in a creative mindset which i feel like i'm already not reaching enough because of the mental fatigue i get from my irl workload. and, i think adding an upload schedule would just completely ruin the fun and stress relief i get from writing, and ruin my chances of developing for the better as a writer, or at least, that's how i view it right now, and that could change in the future, who knows :)

mainly, it's the fatigue, slow speed, and unhappiness i have with my writing that's at fault (my fault lol) for the reason why sip of sunshine chapter two isn't out yet. i've re-written it like, two times now and i still don't feel like it's the quality you all deserve especially after you guys have been so patient about it :(

don't read this as me like, bashing you for asking if i have a schedule! thank you for asking in the first place, a lot of people were probably curious about this, and also i think i just needed to rant :)

EVA : extravehicular activity. a real aerospace term to describe any activity astronauts perform outside their spacecraft, commonly known as a spacewalk.

hail mary : the starship assigned to grace's mission, powered by astrophage.

petrova line : the infrared emission signature emitted by astrophage.

petrovascope : a fictional scientific instrument specifically designed to detect and measure astrophage activity (petrova lines).

project hail mary : the mission itself, humanity's final attempt to prevent extinction from the sun dying.

rocky : the eridian engineer and friend encountered by grace.

tau ceti : the star system where the hail mary travels to investigate a planet (adrian) that is immune to astrophage.

taumoeba : an organism found by grace that eats astrophage.

༊࿐ ⊹ ˚. hi, love! sorry to disappoint, but i don’t feel comfortable writing smut for kimi. i should've made that clear in my original rule set, so don't feel weird about it at all, it's my fault for not communicating this boundary!

˖♡ - ̗̀ ⇢ hey, love! i received another request for toto that's similar to this as well, and i assume this might be referencing the taylor swift song (which i've never listened to before, but i did look up the lyrics)—and honestly, i'm not comfortable writing affairs/cheating scenario's where reader is knowingly involved. it pains me to even think about the idea of being someone's affair partner and i can't write about it either.

now; could i write a fic where !reader is the one who gets cheated on? yeah. but, i don't think i can write a fic where it's !reader's infidelity :( sorry if this is disappointing, but i'm sure there are other blogs that would write this request better than i would!

i've written about cheating once before in this fic called emotional affair; which is a male!reader fanfic where !reader and oscar are in an established, happy relationship but—as the title would suggest—there's an emotional affair occuring between lando and !reader. at the end, there's a heavy implication that lando and reader will progress to a full affair at some point in the future— and this fic is probably the last one i will ever write about reader participating in infidelity.

i would delete this fic because the very idea of cheating on somebody makes me want to v0mit but it's too well written to get rid of 😭😭😭
