What I’m Reading: February
1. Glory Burning (SS98) - There’s never any foreplay when they have sex; Harry merely makes sure that there won’t be resistance on the part of discomfort from Louis before driving home. He was ruthless in his least temperamental state and monstrous at his worst, each time leaving Louis in various degrees of soreness. Louis used to love it without ever admitting it and a shameful amount of times did he orgasm in the most unkempt manner from Harry’s lack of gentility.
Except no, he felt more agitated by such roughness because of the four week old foetus whose concerns were also his.
1. To Be a King Beside You (hilarry13) - Harry and Louis went to school together and were best friends before Louis had to leave early to rule as king after the passing of his father. They lose touch until Harry is hired, unbeknownst to Louis, as a servant to Louis and there’s lots of slow burn and falling in love.
2. My Heart, In Deadly Rhythm (impetuous) - A spies!AU in which Liam is the Wade to Louis’ Kim Possible, Zayn seduces people for intel, Niall is an expert at blowing things up, and Harry is more than a bit famous in his particular field . . . or infamous, actually. And Louis? Well, Louis just wishes people would quit trying so bloody hard to kill him all the time.
3. Sail Across Me (iwillpaintasongforlou) - Harry is a prince that is about to be forced into marriage against his will and running away to sea seems like a much better option. Louis is the captain of the infamous pirate ship The Rogue and he has a thing for helping defenseless creatures. Especially when they’re as pretty as this one.
4. Now That I’ve Found You (allwaswell16) - Harry Styles has a great job working for his brother-in-law’s construction company. He has just one small problem. His concrete sub-contractor just quit, and he needs a foundation built as soon as possible. One fateful turn brings him exactly what he’s been looking for - an experienced concrete construction company that happens to be owned by the most beautiful man he’s ever laid eyes upon.
5. ‘Til I Tasted You (kiwikero) - Louis is Harry Styles’ biggest fan. It doesn’t matter that Harry is famous for being a food blogger and Louis can’t cook to save his life.
At least, until Harry offers to give Louis a cooking lesson. Then it matters just a teensy bit.
6. No One Else Will Do (awriterwrites, dimpled_halo) - It takes Louis’ early heat for Harry and Louis to figure things out.
7. We’ll Get it Right in the End (louiswillian) - Harry Styles is what the media is currently revolving around. He’s young, he’s attractive and apparently good at everything. A singer songwriter and the new face of Captain America soon encounters himself amidst a problem when he finds himself falling for the person he’s not supposed to, an elite professional escort, Louis Tomlinson.
8. Like an Endless Summer (objectlesson) - Louis is a riding instructor at a summer camp, and Harry is a fellow counselor who he’s been successfully managing his crush on for the last two summers. That is, until Harry shows up this year leveled up and lethal, and all Louis’ formerly perfected veneer of nonchalance melts like a popsicle in the sun.
9. You Could Have Moonlight in Your Hands (orphan_account) - It’s the usual work for Harry-with awestruck fans crowding his space, cellphone cameras in his face, and rude paparazzi loitering around in front of the building to take his pictures, his day is turning into a not-so-brilliant one. And then a beautiful man falls into his life.
10. Paper Houses (allwaswell16) - When model Louis Tomlinson admits to having a celebrity cruse on a very famous actor in an article in GQ magazine, he has no idea it will lead to anything. He definitely never suspects he will fall so hard and so fast for Harry Styles. When reality begins to interfere, their relationship is put to the test.
