British Pattern 1897 Infantry Officer’s Sword and Various British Militaria
A pair of cavalry officer’s white leather gauntlets, a pair of gilt (worn) fused grenade pattern cloak fasteners. A GVR levee pattern 1897 pattern infantry officer’s sword, the 64cm bright blade with single fuller and etched both sides with scrolling foliage panels, plated hilt incorporating the GVR crowned cypher, wire bound fish skin hand grip, contained in its leather bound metal scabbard. The polished steel shoe and spear point head from a lance, a red/white lance pennon. A 19th century pewter half-pint tankard, a maroon coloured cloth fez (crushed), a modern glengarry with diced band. A blackened wood war club (66cm) to the finial, the hand grip bound in snakeskin(?).
