Tomorrow I start another glazing mania 😌 But hopefully this time it will be different = not take as long and not be as stressy! I really dont like to rush these things, I need time to ponder and not make mistakes - the glazing is just as important as shaping the clay! 🌿
In this viddy is a slipcast stoneware ceramic pumpkin or gourd mug 🎃
I have lots of ducks ready for glazing these days. But it takes time, and I hope I start the kiln by Friday and open Saturday 🥰 #freeshipping #cubone #glazingpottery #duckyou #duckcollection #ceramicart #art #moreceramicslessplastic #interiordecor #hadetpåbadet (ved Charlie Made This) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpMosXkqZnz/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Close up of some glaze on a custom order I have. Just unloaded this from the kiln. . . . . . . . posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CWEAjfzrbI2/
Glazing the exterior of a mug Before dipping the mugs I like to give the glaze a really good stir, this ensures all the glaze materials are mixed together and none of the heavier materials are stuck on the bottom. If the glaze isn’t mixed properly it can cause funny things to happen after being fired in the kiln. I usually dip my mugs for a good 3-4 seconds to get a sufficient coat of glaze on the surface. #glazingpottery#handmademugs#cone6glazes#ceramicprocess#australianceramics https://www.instagram.com/p/CT8hZAzlKFZ/?utm_medium=tumblr

FINALLY finished glazing my 6 pieces. Hopefully they end up good/don't destroy any shelves! This summer has been terrible. Idk how to feel about my art right now I just want to scream and pull out my hair! Life is so stressful and I can't handle it but the next semester is starting so hopefully I can feel inspired again! Pray for me that my pieces turn out good!
Painted/glazed this little fella at a local art shop today
Can’t wait to see his colors after the kiln
God I have so much to glaze 😅
