guyeppel: So here we are, it's @/glastofest 2007. Pictured are @/jamesquinton & @/andrewkendall, a couple of my old NME colleagues, with an alligator/dinosaur enjoying the beers backstage. Turns out the Gatorsaur was Alex Turner. Yes the Alex Turner of @/arcticmonkeys. He figured out a way to enjoy the festival as a regular punter so to speak, or how to be amongst the regular festival goers without drawing attention to himself as the new savior of U.K. rock 'n' roll. I believe the story goes that he was hanging out with Lily Allen and she had extra costumes laying around, so he picked one to wear and kept himself discreet while having some fun for the night. Very cunning. Almost "as cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University?" If you're British you'll get the reference. If not I recommend you watch the most brilliant TV comedy series that is Blackadder.
