Double Date

My submission for the @md-fanzine! A lovely little double date scene between Nuzi and Sera-V because I honestly wanted to just make something wholesome :3

GlassWings: The descendants of Whiteout and the half of the NightWing tribe that stayed on the Talon Peninsula after Darkstalker disappeared thousands of years ago.

GlassWings have shiny metallic scales in all shades of gray, sometimes with a warm or cool undertone, and all with varying degrees of dappling. GlassWing horns grow in three pairs, and sharp thick spines run down their backs and tail. Their eyes are solid and come in hues of green, blue, or purple.

GlassWings no longer have the mind reading or future sight of their ancestors, but sometimes a dragonet will be born with frostbreath, firebreath, or both. The ability is situational, and can only be used when their body temperature is appropriate.

Names given to GlassWings often have to do with pale and/or gray rocks and minerals (Silver, Marble, Crystal) or abstract concepts (Hope, Joy, Verity)

The Glass Kingdom historically prizes pacifism and peaceful resolution. It's customary for GlassWing dragonets to have their naturally sharp spines and horns filed down as hatchlings, and be taught art, writing, and philosophy in place of combat. GlassWing art is particular is highly prized by aristocratic dragons from other tribes.

The GlassWing Royal Family is not descended from any of the original NightWing royals, who all fled; instead the current family was chosen early on in the tribe's history by the last of the seers on the peninsula, who convened to choose a family that probably had the best outcome for the future of the tribe. The system of succession, instead of a duel, is a debate by the queen and challenger in front of the wisest thinkers in the tribe, who vote to decide whether rulership should change. Dethroned queens typically stay in the palace and advise the new queen.
