🍃🏹➳ “Are you... a robot duck?” She asked, appearing from the shade of a large oak in the dead of night, silent as the shadows themselves. 

       The forests outside Duckburg were always known to have strange and mysterious creatures that science had yet to explain; sasquatch, unicorns, and all manner of mythical beasts. Mostly quacks and nutjobs returned to town ranting and raving about them while showing blurry and obstructive pictures or videos on their phones, usually of something running away or trying to hide, but having one lackadaisically approach somebody was certainly a new one.

     How self-righteous. Jim was once the same way - a pathetic sap who thought that he was having an impact on children around the world with the bravery and strength he brought his signature character. But what good did that do him? He was abandoned, left forgotten by everyone. No one even cared to tell him that they were reviving his old show in the form of a movie. No one cared about Jim Starling until he was supposedly dead. So much for that pride he once felt.

                          she had zoned out   a while ago   , staring out a nearby window .  though at the sound of his voice she snaps back into reality , eyes going wide as she turns to look at him clear confusion written on her face .
