Five years ago I practically begged this guy to travel all the way from Guelph, ON, Canada to Wisconsin for a Jam session. What I didn't know then was how his friendship and belief in me would shape me as a person and as an instructor. @zjcarlos has a goofy sense of humor that makes everyone smile, a wicked addiction to Blizzards from Dairy Queen, and a father-daughter bond that fills my heart. But he is also one of my most talented friends and brings passion to everything he touches and heart to everything he teaches.
