Half-hour sandglass, gilded silver and bronze (ca. 1500–25) German artisans crafted this finely wrought sandglass during the early sixteenth century, likely within the production center of Nuremberg. It features gilded silver and bronze housing designed for the highest end of the luxury market. hes not very popular with the ants thats for sure!!! they would start to speculate on what happened and gilded silver would very quickly be considered so dangerous that other bugs would either approach him with the sole purpose of killing him, or avoid him out of fear

ampelos' family absolutely is out to fucking Get Him though. his papa will not tolerate this weaver bullshit!!! he WILL get an answer or revenge on this, and the first thing he does is go to the weavernest to do exactly that.

and his mama (filigree) can only lament together with him.... with gilsil and ampelos gone, and after many failed search attempts

i think you could get a grand hunt wish for gilded silver where hornet and gilsil get to kick each others ass in the pilgrims rest <3

i imagine that they show up in pharloom around the end of act 2, right before the Void Disaster™ so they would unfortunately have to deal with all of that. . . but they also get a free home next to weavernest cindril so gilded silver has bigger priorities than the end of the world 🥀
