There were 2 main things I wanted for this artwork. supjeyk nailed both: 1. the vibe/aesthetic of a royal portrait, as befitting these 2 stupidly powerful and majestic kings;

2. their definitive image, as far as I'm concerned => hence the pick-and-choose fest in terms of designs, expressions etc.
