Gil sipped on a drink as he overlooked the ongoing wrap party. The film had been a struggle to shoot, mostly due to the weather in the island they chose to film in. And almost half of the film took place there, so he was definitely struggling to make it to his deadline. They actually finished filming their last scene only three hours before he had to meet with the editor. Now all he had to do essentially was sit back and wait until they settled on an official release date. Until then, he continued looking around for other projects to get involved in — and, of course, focusing his energy into the handsome makeup artist he met on his last movie (who he hired for this one, totally not so he could spend some quality time during his off-time, Quincy had a real talent for what he did).
He finished the last of his drink, setting it down on the bar before he got up. He went over to a nearby group of people conversing, his arms sliding around the younger male he had been thinking of just moments ago so that he could hug him from behind. “Hey.” He greeted as he rested his chin on his left shoulder. “Was getting kinda lonely over there. Glad to see you’re popular tonight.” He teased, the small laugh trailing from his words exposing that he was a little tipsy.
