Daniel had barely slept the pasttwo nights, but he barely felt it now. The one glass of wineAlexander had offered him after their latest ritual had turned intomany, and he felt more at ease than he had in weeks.Hewas only half-aware of what the baron was saying. His voice wassoothing to listen to, and Daniel stared at him in a glazed sort ofway, barely taking in a single word.”Perhaps youshouldn’t have taken any wine, after all,” Alexander said. TheEnglishman gaped at him, brows knitting together into a thoughtfulfrown as he tried to decipher what he’d just said.”Ibeg your pardon?””The wine, Daniel, the wine,” thebaron sighed. ”I am not sure it was advisable when you are takinglaudanum for your insomnia. You’re half-asleep as it is.””No,I’m not,” he protested. He leaned closer, pouring them both newglasses. ”With all our hard work, we should relax a little. It’sonly fair.””I suppose you’re right.”Danieldowned his drink in one go. His eyes seemed to catch on littledetails; Alexander’s lips parting as he spoke, his skin ghostly whitein the candlelight, the wine glass in his hand, his tongue as itpoked out to wet his lips…”Daniel?”Suchtantalising lips.”For heaven’s sake, you should go andlay down.”He wasn’t listening; the wine was making himfeel warm in odd places and he couldn’t think, thoughts just fallinginto pieces every time he tried. He was only vaguely aware of leaningcloser to the baron, of placing his hand on the elder’s thigh.Alexander placed his glass back on the table with a loudclink.”Whatare you doing?””I’m flirting with you,” Danielheard himself blurt out. His inner voice suspected he wasn’t doing itvery well at all. The baron remained impassive, but his eyes hadwidened slightly.”Are you, now?” he asked, loweringhis voice. Before Daniel had the time to react he’d crushed theirlips together, kissing him fiercely. It made his head spin evenworse, and he hardly registered that Alexander had pinned him againstthe back of the sofa. He felt a jolt of excitement at his gut at thethought.”I daresay you don’t want more wine, Daniel?”Alexander whispered against his mouth, trying to catch his breath. Itwas elating to see his composure slipping for once.”No,”he admitted. ”I just want this.”Send me two or more characters and a number and I’ll write a drabble/ficlet!

I am saying that I am staggered not only by the immense effort you are putting into your translation, but also that you have not taken the equally immense temptation to just tell me you were translating it and instead putting down 8k words of dick jokes instead.  I don’t say that as anything against you, I say that as a lover of dick jokes who is awed by your taking the higher road when opportunity flops out at you, as it were.

So it’s more the above then this. my they’re cute together and I dig them but I’m not all that terribly invested kinda fave ship: Willow/Wigfrid (only bc Charlie and Walani both are also adorable with Willow and I can’t choose very well) and Maxwell/Charliemy I didn’t care about this ship either way at first but the fandom makes such a big deal about it now I can’t stand it non-fave ship: Willowson… idk I just. I find it very boring, it just screams generic het pairing to me. It’s not my cup of tea at all. I’m just tired of it, that’s all. I love Willow, and I love Wilson, but I like shipping them with the magic duo way more then each other. I like writing them as snarky buddies. my MAKE IT STOP non-fave ship: EH. Don’t really have one.
