Wahhhh sorry I forever have Trigun on the brain and Ghostwood is a particular scratch that will never cease to itch (in a good way I prommy) and the idea of him maybe influencing Stampgaze some in Vash's ideal or even just being there to see them in action and have maybe some pride in knowing his little self is doing his best and still looking out for Vash makes my heart flutter

Anon u have no idea. U have noooo ideaaaa how much I've been thinking about ghostwood, because I'm gonna b real. I thought Stampede wolfwood will die, and ghostwood was supposed to commit the ultimate act of self love and save him at the cost of his own new existence (because the more he gets invested into the story, the more he becomes flesh and blood human again). But Stargaze said - no. Just this once, everybody* lives!

I think my two favourite ideas for ghostwood now are:

SARDONICUS

Meet Sardonicus, a malefactor trickster figure of unknown origin. He makes his debut in the upcoming first issue of GHOSTWOOD, robbing a jewelry store.

No one is quite sure what Sardonicus is or the scope of his abilities-but he seems to escape even the most dire of situations with ease. Do you have any guesses of what his abilities or goals are?

This stranger was warmly familiar, but his name was hazy to recall, crackled in your memory like weathered words on a headstone.

They say the place is haunted

The shaded inside of a crumbled stone church, with an empty arched window broken at the upper right corner along with much of the wall. Rubble is piled on the floor. A muted yellow and purple sky shines through the hole. In front of the window stands a bloodied Wolfwood, holding the Punisher over his shoulder. The Punisher's cloth wrapper is rotting off and hanging in strips, exposing the rust underneath. Wolfwood is surrounded by glowing smoke that is leaking from his mouth and the wounds in his body, and his heart can be seen through his chest, leaking golden light from many cracks.

Blood runs across the floor from under his feet, and out of the blood white calla lilies are growing, the flowers surrounded by dim haloes of light.

Tested some brushes, eventually got frustrated and tired, still love Ghostwood very much. Sorry for the silly sketches:(

Have this big boi separetely, I really like how he turned out despite all my lineart mistakes (I got soooo confused and the brush was difficult to tame but ohhhh the TeXtUrE)
