Further update on When Paradise Is Lost-

I've been transferring all my notes - which had been hand-written - into an Obsidian vault and boyyyyyyyy. This is taking a bit. Funnily enough, it's the character sections that are taking a while since each character has to have their name, age, pronouns, element (if a Ghoul), position, powers, appearance, personality, relationships, plot notes and notable quotes listed. Oh, and the humans all have DOB if relevant. Do I need to do this? Eh, probably not. But if I don't, I would end up having to re-read my own fic more than just once.

For example, such note taking would have saved me from issue I have with one of my OC Cardinals - Linden. Cardinal Linden, in my mind, was a woman. She/Her. Cisgender. But. Apparently, past-me did not get that memo. Linden has been referred to, on many separate occasions, as he/him, male, they/them, person, she/her and woman. So. Because I can, they are now gender fluid. Is it lazy? Yes. Was I about to introduce a different gender fluid character? Yes, and I still will. But changing prev chapters would be confusing I feel XD

With my worldbuilding, I've now started to properly develop the lore around Prime Movers, Ghouls and their Summonings (Ritual techniques, how their powers work etc), as well as the magic system in general - although I had that pretty well fleshed out to begin with.

'Age Timeline' refers to my incomprehensible and way too in-depth list of when events happened, how old people were etc. For example, when each of the Emeritus boys were born, became Papa, married etc. When big events happened (that you will find out soon *taps side of nose mysteriously*)

I've forgotten how much I love this side of writing. Fleshing out a world like this, to the point where it's more divergent than it is canon, is so much fun. Like, yes, there is still some canon parts. But the joy of fanfic is cherry-picking what you do and do not want to be canon XD
