I had a thought while rewatching ghosts (specifically S4 E18), Couldnβt they theoretically test the ghost trap by having Pete stay in it off property and if he starts to disappear they can assume the ghost trap doesnβt work for transportation? Although that would be a pretty boring few days for Pete but then they would all know for sure.
