Inspired as well by the passages below. I have since read Ghost River, a short graphic novel written by Lee Francis IV and illustrated by Weshoyot Alvitre. It deals with the history of the 1763 massacre of the Conestoga people, and how we can reckon with and remember it today. A short documentary about the making of the book and an interactive online copy of the book are available here. I highly recommend. Mason & Dixon does much, yes, but it does not provide a native perspective. Ghost River does.
