Description: John still gets nightmares about Afghanistan. Thatβs the worst part of it all, he thinks β he still has dreams about sand and drowning to death in his own blood. But theyβre more memory than nightmare.
Review: John got killed in Afghanistan and woke up in 221b as a ghost. When Sherlock Holmes moves in, his afterlife gets a whole lot more interesting. I havenβt read a fic yet where one of the characters is a ghost (but I have where one is a hologram) and this was a lot better than I was expecting. Itβs slightly angsty because you know they canβt really be together together, but it was sweet all the same.
