Savannah, GA is a funny place to call home. Many parts of it are really pretty, like absolutely picturesque. The flip side of that is the extremely high violent crime rate we have for being such a little city. My uncle called my grandmother today to tell her that just  two or three blocks up the street from our house, a cop got shot in broad daylight, in the early afternoon, on a really busy street. Still don't know if he's dead yet. Got to wait for the local news to come on tonight to find out. I'm also curious to hear about that court case out of Brunswick of the guy who's "accused" of trying to rob a woman and after learning he wasn't going to get anything, decided to shot the woman in the foot while he shot her baby in the head, who then later sadly died from his injury.
