God's own country lost the opportunity to put a scene where john make a question like: "how you say 'i love you' in romanian?" and gheorghe, blushing, answering 'te iubesc' omfg i'm screaming inside of myself for a scene like this

I love him so much
What an amazing actor and a hero.
Goddammit this movie is so beautiful.
Johnny and Gheorghe often communicate more in body language than in words - in fact, there are several pivotal scenes in the film that don’t actually have any verbal dialogue. The dialogue is accomplished through looks and touches and movement.
The scene above has dialogue, but it also follows the body language pattern that we see in several other important scenes in the film - Johnny aggressively shoving Gheorghe back, because Gheorghe is dangerously close to breaking through to his true, soft, vulnerable self. In the end Johnny caves to Gheorghe’s care and his tenderness in this moment, as becomes their pattern. Because, like all of us, deep down Johnny does want someone to come and tend to his most vulnerable parts.
