The skies of waterfall showing off again! Yesterday my plan was to@go@for an early morning run - 5:15. Loadshedding and the mosquitos had me up from 3:30am. So I had a lot of time to talk myself out of running. But after much debate in my head I got myself out by 5:20. As I rounded one of the corners, I was present with these skies. The fact that we can move is amazing. Maybe an understatement of the year so far, but am I the only one who imagines what it is like to be a tree? We can run towards things or away from them. I can take a surfboard and go into the ocean and commune with waves. We can roll on the floor with our children and re learn from them the fun of moving our bodies. I’m actually flabbergasted by the number of people who do not have a movement practice they enjoy. They train or exercise, but they don’t enjoy it. They have lost their play like when Peter Pan forgot he was the Pan. Growing all the way up is a trap. Remember to play. Find your play, your spark, your stoke. Also, looking for an image totally.
