Hi @thezoe611 Now that you completed your excellent fic Unstoppable (based on “Geronimo Saga” by @rebellingstagnationblog) I need to write once again a review about it.
(Sorry for any misspelling^^’)
SPOILER ALERT, IF SOMEONE DOESN'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE STORY AND ITS LAST CHAPTERS
Wow. What an adventure. Really, I didn’t expect it to be such a suspenseful, tear-jerking and emotional story from beginning to end. You broke my heart so many times that I lost count. But I don’t regret it, because I enjoyed reading this amazing fic. Also, thanks to Geronimo Saga and Unstoppable, I finally watched for the first time all the episodes (not just some of them) of Darkwing Duck (and read for the first time the comics) last year. I understand much better why it's so popular even now.
I wrote in my first review my feelings until chapter 24 (all the pain that I suffered until that chapter). After that chapter, it was (once again) an emotional roller coaster. First of all, the plot-twists and revelations. Many of them. The biggest would be the truth about Ratigan and Gosalyn’s grandfather, of course. That chapter, auch. The pain was so big. I didn’t expect the truth to be so tragic (And poor Gosalyn, watching all those memories. The description of her emotions when she found out how her parents died was so sad😭).
Also, I’ve cried a lot with many moments of the new chapters that touched my heart🥺. If I had to choose a few moments to describe, will be:
Chapter 29: Gosalyn talking with Goofy (I cried reading that moment between those two) and later with Negaduck (I loved it. Especially after all the pain they’ve suffered in the fic). Gosalyn really needed moments like those after everything that happened to her.
Chapter 34: Once again, the plot-twist about Thaddeus Waddlemeyer. All the pain that caused his actions and mistakes, and Gosalyn watching all of them was so painful.
Chapter 36: the beginning with Tim’s flashback. I-I cannot express how I felt reading those memories without exploding because of that horrible Mortimer! I hate him! I hate him so much!
Chapter 39: the last scene. Seriously, I felt so many feelings reading the thoughts and emotions of Timothy (Poor kid 🥺😭), then Gosalyn and Max talking to him, and then… then that last moment of the three together, as a new family.
"…The warmth of a family…"
I was so, so happy reading that scene that I couldn’t stop crying for minutes.
There are more moments, of course. But if I wrote all of them, I wouldn’t know when to stop writing.
The end of Ratigan that you showed… Wow. Negaduck feelings and thoughts described very well that moment. I couldn’t enjoy that villain’s end like I expected because of the situation in his last moments.
Nega-Scrooge’s story is a conflict of emotions to me as a reader. He did horrible things to Gosalyn just to take revenge on Negaduck. However, his pain for his loss was so real. (And it’s more tragic with the revelation that Negaduck spoke to Scrooge). I felt sad with the last scene of him talking with Tim.
The discussion between Darkwing and Darkwarrior (another big surprise in the last chapter!) was very interesting (I read it many times)
In addition, I loved the moments of information, revelations and connections (I really like those moments in your fics, Zoe^^). Chapter 39 resolved so many mysteries of the story (even some that I almost forgot^^’) that I enjoyed it.
Once again, I loved how you introduced new Original Characters (It was a surprise to discover new OCs even in the last chapter). Also, I don’t forget all the new mysteries that you showed in the end. They have the potential for new stories.
Thank you for sharing this incredible story of Darkwing Duck, Zoe. I really enjoyed reading it.
I’m looking forward to reading "The Beauty and the Beast" (don’t worry. Take your time. And good luck with your tests).
Hi, I have a question that has been eating at me for weeks^^'. Would Max have a bachelor party before the wedding? Who would participate?
(I have a feeling it wouldn't be a "quiet" party, both for the father of the groom and/or for the father of the bride- not to mention her tutor ^^ ')
How fun!! I hadn’t thought about this before, but let’s see what we can come up with 🤔
PJ and Bobby definitely take Max for a night on the town with Huey, Dewey, and Louie in tow. They probably do a pub crawl, eat greasy unhealthy food, and end the night with Bobby getting really philosophical about life and the future and what it all means.
For the fathers… Goofy gives Max his space and let’s him have fun, but reminds his son that he’s a phone call away if he needs anything. Max, inevitably, calls him for a ride home and Goofy, of course, obliges.
Drake threatens to go along whether he’s invited or not to make sure things don’t get rowdy, but Launchpad manages to keep him busy. Probably by pandering to his paranoia. “Megavolt sure has been quiet for awhile, huh?” “Did you see that new botanical garden just opened up? Weird that Bushroot hasn’t made a move on it yet, isn’t it?”
Negaduck definitely follows the boys the whole time. No shame, full creep, all stalking. He needs to make sure the little punk doesn’t get himself killed because Gosalyn would be upset if Max never made it to the altar (Definitely not because he’s grown fond of Max)
Thanks for the ask! This was fun!
What do YOU (yes, you!) think happens at Max’s Bachelor Party?
Duckverse OC month, I guess? @rebellingstagnationblog made a post a week or two ago about her unwritten Geronimo chapters - specifically "Don't Threaten me with a Good Time". It was going to cover Negaduck's relationship with power, his plans to take over Duckburg, all kinds of cool stuff.
A few people (namely @rightasrainee and @thezoe611) have asked what happened to Nega-Morgana and to Nega-Launchpad in the Geronimo-verse. I
One of the characters supposed to appear in that story was Nega-Morgana and Morg was one of my favorite characters from the show, so I took the concepts that Rebelling had and basically ran a 5K with it. So here's Nega-Morgana!
I've been meaning to redraw her, but haven't found the time yet. Sorry the paper is smudged.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Chapter 5 of "A Very Merry Geronimo Christmas," from the Geronimo Saga by @rebellingstagnationblog This is my interpretation of the chapter, with a few of my own touches, but I think it turned out well even though I'm not an expert^^'
I'd like to say it's my favorite chapter of that Christmas fic, but nope, all the chapters are favorites x3 Actually, I planned to make this comic for Christmas last year, but I didn't even manage to start it then, but this time I did!
(I admit that this year was much harder than last year because I had too many assignments, and next year I'll be doing my internship, so I think I'll have to put the "Beauty and the Beast" project on hold even longer (I'm afraid I'll have to abandon it ><'). It's just… not enough free time TvT.)

Gosalyn must have had incredible patience during those early years working alongside Negaduck X'D Based on Geronimo Saga by @rebellingstagnationblog
Yeah… Grandpa Negsy may be a strict but good teacher for Timothy… but his lessons can sometimes be a bit too chaotic^^' "Unstoppable" is based on "Geronimo Saga" by @rebellingstagnationblog
I definitely think little Audrey will do Negaduck a lot of good, just like his Baby Girl, Gosalyn, did. Obviously, the villain will NEVER stop being dangerous (that much is clear, because his lifestyle will never change), but learning to love and appreciate a strange being like the baby is a huge achievement for him… …And then there's Timothy, with whom the villain can be a little rough sometimes (and no, Tim, it wasn't a good idea to try and take pictures of your Grandpa Negsy without muting the sound first^^').
