The Dutch Baby Pancake, also known as a German pancake, is a delicious and fluffy oven-baked pancake that puffs up in the oven. It's a simple yet impressive breakfast treat that's perfect for special occasions or lazy weekend mornings.
Ingredients: 3 large eggs. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. Powdered sugar for dusting. Fresh berries for topping, optional. Maple syrup for serving, optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. In a blender, combine eggs, flour, milk, and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Place the butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet or baking dish and put it in the preheated oven until the butter melts and starts to sizzle about 2-3 minutes. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and pour the batter into it. Immediately return the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the Dutch Baby Pancake is puffed up and golden brown. Remove from the oven, dust with powdered sugar, and top with fresh berries if desired. Serve hot with maple syrup if you like. Enjoy!
