So I signed up for this website called Duolingo that teaches you different languages, then gives you random sentences from the internet to translate. So I'm trying to learn German and the word for "is eating" is "isst", but I keep translating it as "is". And I just feel bad for the poor German people out there on English websites who are gonna come across sentences I've translated and be like "Wtf?? What do mean the girl's a strawberry?!?!"

So, me and Sisu don't own a car, so a lot of the places we go to have to be walked to (or we hitch a ride with one of our roommates who are so kind to drive us places when we need it). Anyways, we end up talking while we walk, naturally, and since I have rather obsessive habits, I end up talking about Finland and/or the Finnish language.
But besides the point. I was talking about how whenever I forget a word, or don't know a word in Finnish, it gets replaced by German (despite me having forgotten almost all of my german knowledge from school).
So these are the things we yelled at the side of a busy road during rush hour traffic.
