Day 5. Gerald Anderson "Jerry" Lawson was an African-American electronic engineer that created the first home video game system, Fairchild Channel F, with interchangeable game cartridges in 1976. Lawson also founded and ran Videosoft, a video game development company. Videosoft would make the software for the Atari 2600 in the early 1980s.
