1) Nick Offerman as the doomsday prepper with a giant collection of firearms in his bunker (basically Burt Gummer, but not Burt)

2) John Boyega as the protagonist. He is a city slicker seismologist who goes to the desert town of Perfection, Nevada to study earthquakes.

3) Olivia Holt as the deuteragonist. She is a local horse rancher/horse girl who befriends the seismologist, but clashes with him at first.

4) Ryan Hurst as the leader of a biker gang that are all wiped out by the graboids. Laurie Holden plays his girlfriend who is the last member of the biker gang to get eaten. I don’t have any actors in mind for the rest of the gang, but I imagined a real casting director would pick more lesser known actors for these roles.

5) Ke Huy Quan, Ming-Na Wen, Simu Liu, Ashley Liao, and Dallas Liu are the Asian-American family that lives in Perfection and runs the main general store. Quan is Ming Na’s husband, Simu is Ming Na’s lazy brother who smokes weed all the time.

6) Joe Keery as Olivia Holt’s cowboy boyfriend who gets eaten by a graboid.

7) Emma Myers as Nick Offerman’s rebellious daughter who he made sure was trained to use firearms (so Ron Swanson and Enid from Wednesday get the scene where they just start blasting away at a graboid that attacks the bunker).

8) William Fichtner plays the jerk of the town who gets eaten by a graboid.

9) George Lopez plays the hapless mayor of Perfection.
