A New Genrefluent Experiment
Dear Readers,
As many of you know I've been posting Books of the Week since 1996. Yikes! That is a long time and a lot of books. I started off by using a text editor and learning html from checking out the source code on other websites. I originally called it Genreflecting which is the title of book from Libraries Unlimited that I had written the 3rd and 4th editions by that time. For a while my brother (mancom.com) hosted my site. When it was there I used some kind of Microsoft software called FrontPage. Sometime in there my publisher launched the Genreflecting series that now features dozens of readers' advisory guides and they needed the genreflecting.com URL. At that point I started using the name Genrefluent combining the parts of the two titles I had in print at that time. I switched to Dreamweaver 4 and now have been using Dreamweaver 8 for way too long. Now it is time to try something else so this tumblr version of Genrefluent is an experiment to see how I like it as I decide which directions I want to go. --Di, AKA Diana Tixier Herald
