I caught this @atlasgraffiti and @genoski #streetartcollaboration in the streets of #EastLA today! Stay tuned for the other two sick walls attached to this one! #AtlasGraffiti #genoski #lastreetart #muralism #muralart #artingwithhalopigg #losangelesstreetart #artnerd #streetart (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN0pmrAH5JY/?igshid=nyi2b025pt0r
BOYLE HEIGHTS
by Genoski and Atlas
Long-time Los Angeles graffiti artist Rick Ordonez, aka Atlas, quickly gained popularity when he started putting his stylized cartoon cats up across the city more than a decade ago. Unfortunately law enforcement did not agree with the sentiment and the artist labeled by @LATimes as the "Elusive Cat Tagger" had to serve time before being released to open his debut gallery show: Kitty Litter. Atlas is now a frequent collaborator with Pasadena native Gino Gaspara, aka Genoski, a talented young tattoo artist with @Klockwork_Tattoo_Club and master renderer of roses, faces, and whatever he puts his mind to. In 2019 the two again joined forces on this section of a much longer wall, on which Atlas also collaborated with graffiti legend @VyalOne . The wall is on Union Pacific Ave in LA's Boyle Heights neighborhood. @genoski/ @atlasgraffiti/
Last week I had the pleasure of painting with some friends, old and new, on Union Pacific in #boyleheights . My good buddy @atlasgraffiti has been serving those blocks with some amazing line ups and productions. It’s really amazing what he’s doing with the place and I recommend checking it out! I was stoked to paint with @saturnoart finally and he hooked up some sick monsters and backgrounds. It was also awesome to watch @genoski at work on the wickedess witch I’ve ever seen. Follow these dudes and keep up with their amazing work! #eastla #losangeles #graffiti #atlas #saturno #genoski #craola
