Fukuzawa Yukichi from the anime Bungou Stray Dogs isthe president of the Armed Detective Agency. He’s serious and usually calm. In his approach he prioritizes the wellbeing of his subordinates above all other things. He apparently never smiles. He’s a martial artist, but can also fight with a sword. He also has a magic ability.

Propaganda:

Fukuzawa is a lot of fun because not only is his backstory completely wild (used to be a government assassin but willingly stepped away because he was beginning to enjoy the act of killing and that scared him) but also he has a hobby of straightup adopting weird traumatized young people who have nowhere else to go. He's like, the boss of an organisation of detectives with superpowers, but he's really just collecting these traumatized kids off the street and taking care of them. He acts like a father to his detectives in a lot of cases and I'm pretty sure is actually the legal guardian of the first two that he found (because they were both 14 year old orphans at the time). There's a novel about how he met Orphan Detective No. 1 and it's so sweet it made me cry, it's still one of my favorite books ever. Fun fact: you know how sometimes in animanga, characters will have their likes & dislikes listed? Well, Fukuzawa's one dislike is "feudalism". Okay, peepaw, you have beef with the 18th century. His likes? Alcohol, green tea, beef hot pot, "equality" (he really has the political opinions of a 19th century liberal doesn't he) and cats. Fukuzawa loves cats to a serious degree, he's like the male version of a crazy cat lady!

Gennai from the anime Digimon is one of the creators of Digimon and Digivices. His companions were slaughtered by Piedmon and he was the only one to escape. He was the one who led the DigiDestined to the Server continent and then helps them in other ways.
