âI assure you Irene ssi that there is nothing to be worried about.â Junmyeonâs words boasted enough assurance and collected calm that there was no denial that he was a born leader. The faintest of smiles accented his confidence as he spoke next. âAll the steam and pressure is kept inside and there is a special lock function on the handle.â Junmyeon held a small metal pot and lid in his hands and glanced to the instruction pamphlet in his lap. âThe tiny cap at the top might whistle loudly while the steam evacuates when you cook your food but I promise it wont explode.â He pointed to the drawing of the exact pot he was holding and a small diagram that showed steam with a dramatic depiction of a trainâs whistle to a side. âMay I ask a question? Which cousin was this again that sent you a pressure cooker for Christmas?â
Red Velvetâs leader was usually so calm and collected, even in situations where one would expect her to panic. It was rather easy for her to suppress intense emotions, as well. However, the female didnât quite know how the said appliance worked, thinking of it as similar to a ticking time bomb more than anything. But when she watched Junmyeon use the thing quite easily, all sort of panic went down the drain as she gradually begins to understand how it is used as well, staring down at it with wide, observant eyes that almost made her look like a child. âI...this is embarrassing.â She mumbled under her breath, looking down in shame. How could she have let herself go off like that for a moment? Once she finally composes herself, she lifts her head up high, taking a deep breath and flashing him a grateful smile. âThank you for teaching me how to use it. Ah, I feel so stupid-- it was a cousin from my motherâs side. Will this actually help me cook things faster, though?â
