generation four was indeed a special one! returning to brindleton bay and to ulysses' house brought a lot of fuzzy feelings to my heart ❤️

February 20: Archen

For this week, I'll be posting my favorite fossil Pokemon! First up is this prehistoric cutie, Archen!

Even though I missed a lot of Generation V, I have lots  of favorite Pokemon in there; one of them was Archen! I love anything about prehistoric animals, from dinosaurs to mammoths. Archen is one of the best  representations of Urvogel or Archaeopteryx (I had to google this first haha).

For the drawing, I am happy with how I blend colors  now. Thanks to ever-growing blending tools on  Procreate. I am still figuring out whether I would go for  a bold dark outline or the same color outlines. Though, I  am happy with the results!

This game came out when I was 7. I got it for my seventh birthday, and it was the first game I ever owned.

I was awful at it, and for years and years I played it from the start in hopes of finally completing it. I never did.

When I found out it was 10 years old this year, I convinced myself, and I played it again, the entire thing through, for the first time.

When the final cutscene with N played, and finished, as the credits rolled, I cried. I cried harder than I had cried in months.

I had done it. Ten years of trying, of failing, I finally got to say a real goodbye to them. Bianca, Cheren, N, Juniper, Alder; Iris. They were my friends as I grew up, went through hardships, felt alone, they were always there, and after trying for so long, I finally got to complete their story, say a real thank you for being there.

I can’t listen to this theme without crying anymore, because it sounds exactly as I feel: like a fond farewell, a final thank you,

Saying goodbye to an old friend.

I turned 17 today.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve grown so much, been through so much. I don’t know who or where I’d be without this game though.

- Possibility of the new characters being descendants/related to the mane 6

- Sunny being related to either Twilight or Scootaloo

- Izzy being related to Twilight, Pinkie, or Rarity

- Hitch being Sunny's brother

- Pipp being related to Twilight, Rainbowdash, or Fluttershy

- Pipp secretly being an alicorn

- Pipp is royalty

- Izzy is royalty

- Sunny will become an alicorn (I highly doubt this but it would be fun)

- Maybe there will be 2 other main characters making another mane 6

- It was said there was possibly a flying Pomeranian, I bet it belongs to Pipp (Why is there no speculative fanart of the Pomeranian?!?!?!?!?)

- Twilight is still alive, or some descendant of hers will be in charge

- Flurryheart or her descendant will be the leader of the crystal empire or exist in this world

- Pipp is the antagonist

- Izzy is the antagonist

- There will be some sort of betrayal

- One of them will turn evil (even if only temporarily)

- The reason Izzy is shown with a tennis ball on her horn is to stop her from doing magic

- Sunny has a book in the screenshot and it might be Twilight/mane 6's friendship lesson journal

- The book is about the elements of harmony
