One of the lore asks mentioned that elves have fewer births among themselves in full blood cases, but did you mean that as in elves have low fertility rates? Could that mean that the elf gene would be harder to pass down than the human gene? I don't know how any of this works.
No, it's not that the Elves are less fertile than other people. They could have a lot of children, but they can get ancient so to avoid overpopulation in the Silent Lands, they have a lot fewer children. Besides, more female Elves are born than male Elves. (Some say that this is nature's way of balancing things out due to the old age of the forest inhabitants).
