What’s it like for you, being Genderfluid?
Oh good question! Its complicated and im going to ramble about every aspect of it. Yay!
This is just a reminder that this is my experience and its not the same for every Genderfluid person.
Im sitting and feeling one gender identity, which right now is somewhere between Agender and Bigender. For most, this gender identity does not change. Sure trans people exist but they have always been trans and will always be that. Im not like that.
My identity changes. I am a cis-girl one day, a Trans guy the next. And both are true at that time.
I am fluid throughout the whole gender spectrum. Which means i can be a girl, guy, nonbinary, agender, demi-girl etc. Basically anything.
I dont have set time i can be one gender. The shortest I have been one gender was 2 minutes and the longest was around 2 weeks. There is no average to it. I can switch 9 times a day than stay the same for a week. This makes it kinda hard to keep track of to the point where half the time I have no idea what gender I am.
I can actually switch gender expressions as well. I have multiple she/hers that dress and express their gender in completely different ways. From punk to alt to glitter and pink. I still count this as a switch even if i don't switch gender identities.
Fashion is hard becauseof this, most days I am somewhere in the middle of the gender spectrum and just wear baggy neutral looking outfits. Though the colour of them changes for how I feel that day. I literally dont have the closest for how every single one wants to wear so I just got to deal.
But some days there is just a extreme pull to present much more one way or the other and i basically have dress like that. Like it's physically painful not to but the weird thing is it's in both directions. For example sometimes I really really want to where dresses and i have to wear a skirt even though I literally only have one. Or wear a leather jacket and put my hair into a man bun and act manly I guess.
Pronouns are hard for everyone and myself. How do other people know what pronouns to use? Unless I tell someone that day that I want them to use a specific pronoun which is kind of rare because half the time I don't even know my own pronouns! And then if I do know that day and I tell people half the time they don't even get it right. And like how are they expected to keep track of all of this when I can barely do so. It's really really frustrating.
Tldr: Basically, I get to express myself however I want in any way I want depending on how I feel. But also I never have the ability to just sit in one and be comfortable in it for a period of time because it constantly switches and it's hard to keep track of and is incredibly frustrating.
Thx for the ask!

I'm a full time fag and a part time dyke
TERFs be like “there’s no wrong way to be a woman!” so great I’m doing that by getting top surgery, going on Testosterone, presenting as male, being a man, using male terms, supporting other trans people including transfems, and going by he/him pronouns.
If there’s no “wrong way” then that’s a right way!
Any TERFs who interacts with this post fully endorse this, of course, as evidenced by the fact that TERFs interacting with this post means I will donate to transgender organizations. Interacting with this post means you materially support transgender people and personal autonomy over medical transitioning!
I call this look, “I’m a girl today but I’m also on vacation.” Because I’m genderfluid but sometimes I don’t want to bring my breast forms or makeup on vacation with me. So you get this instead.
