π·οΈ - What is your preferred way for people to refer to you or about you? How does it differ between strangers and close ones?
Not anything special, I think. Just our names and pronouns, but recently we have been picking up titles too for close ones to use and it has been quite euphoric for people, especially our sweetfriend (hi, I know you are reading this!) use them!
We do not have a particular collective identity, but we actually prefer people avoid calling us by our system names if not talking globally about us. We also prefer terminology of "trauma responses" instead of "alters/headmates", because our systemhood is extremely important to us to be rooted in trauma. Though, recently testing calling them "universes" as well. Still not sure how we feel fully.
π½ - What do you believe is the most unique about your identity? Have you found anyone else identifying in similar way to you? Whether yes or no, how does it make you feel that there are more/no people whose identity works like yours?
Oh gosh our experience with multiverse and how many of us are constantly in multiple universes at once at any given moment. We have met one person in this universe who experiences multiverse similarly like we do. Even among other multiverse travelers and/or reality shifters and hoppers we do not really relate? Our multiversic identity is more... detailed and varied and constant. It differs heavily. But it would require a post of its own to talk about it, really.
We feel fine with being unique, but wish we had more people to talk about it sometimes.
𧱠- What is the most frustrating misconception people had about your identity and/or labels you identify with? How do you handle people misunderstanding you and how you identify?
Hm. Nothing comes to mind right now. I do not like being compared to reality shifters and hoppers, because for us it is not "hopping" into any different reality as much as multiple lives happening at once, maybe? It is constant and simultaenous. Also I hate people who think this is just daydreaming. Trust me, we are maladaptive daydreamers and we can tell what is a daydream and what is not. Main difference is often how much we can affect, in a daydream we can affect anything - I mean it is a daydream. In a different reality/universe, well, not really? Just like in this universe I cannot expect what the other person will say for example, I cannot do it in another one.
